On June 22, 2022, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Dollar General at 807 S. Main St. Randleman, in reference to a larceny by an employee that had already occurred. Upon arrival, the Chief Loss Prevention Officer reported that a former employee, identified as Camilla Carolys Irizarry-Rodriguez, had committed multiple acts of larceny by an employee between February and May of 2022. Evidence was provided for each incident.
Charges were sought with the magistrate, who found probable cause for six counts of Felony Larceny by an Employee and three counts of Obtaining Property/Money by False Pretense against Camille and issued the warrants for arrest.
On June 23, 2022, Irizarry-Rodriguez was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and taken before the magistrate, who issued a $2,500 unsecured bond with a court date set for July 18, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
