On June 22, 2022, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to US Hwy 220 Business North, Randleman, in reference to a subject asleep in a vehicle on the property of a business. Upon arrival, deputies observed the vehicle described exit the parking lot recklessly. A traffic stop was initiated to check the welfare of the drive. The driver was identified as Jimmy Floyd Nobles, who had an outstanding warrant of Davidson County. He was placed under arrest. During the investigation, it was determined the trailer being towed behind the vehicle and contents were stolen out of Forsyth County. Nobles was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the outstanding warrant. The magistrate also found probable cause for felony possession of stolen motor vehicle and felony possession of stolen goods. He was issued a $13,000 secured bond and the court date was set for June 23, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
