On June 23, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Branchwood Dr., Asheboro, in reference to a subject trespassing. Upon arrival, deputies located the homeowner and a male subject, later identified as Thomas Zachery Hall, in a verbal altercation. The victims advised Hall that he was not welcome and needed to leave the property. Hall refused to leave and law enforcement was contacted. Deputies arrived and arrested Hall. During a subsequent search of Hall, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Hall was given a $2,500 secured bond. A first appearance was set for July 27, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
