On July 10, 2022, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division recovered a stolen camper on Charles Mtn. Rd. in Denton that was reported stolen out of Davidson County. Jonathan Edward Beane was identified as a suspect in the larceny.
On July 14, 2022, Detectives, assisted by Probation Officers, went to BB Trail to speak with Jonathan Edward Beane, who is currently on probation in Randolph County. Here they also recovered a golf cart reportedly stolen out of Davidson County, as well as a utility trailer that had been reported stolen to Asheboro Police Department on July 12. Detectives also identified Beane as a suspect in the larceny of these items.
Following the investigation, Beane was arrested and transported to the magistrate’s office where the magistrate found probable cause for three counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods/Property. He was issued a total $40,500 secured bond. A first appearance was set for July 15, 2022, in Randolph County District Court. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center for booking.
