On August 25, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to I73/74 South Bound Exit Spero Road in Asheboro, in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputies located a male subject, identified as Deondre Foster. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. Foster was placed under arrest and transported to the magistrate’s office where probable cause was found for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for August 25, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
