[ARCHIVED] Vandalism - Dynasty Dr. and Old Lexington Rd.

On August 28, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received calls at approximately 1:30 am in reference to vandalism; three (3) mailboxes being damaged on Dynasty Dr. off of Old Lexington Rd. The responding units also reported that there were two (2) basketball goals that had been knocked over.  

At approximately 10:30 am, a deputy responded to Dynasty Dr., to file a report for a victim of one of the basketball goals, which had been knocked over and the glass back board had been shattered.   

Later in the day, deputies responded to Old Lexington Rd., Asheboro, for an additional report of vandalism to mailbox and post that had occurred between Friday and Sunday afternoon. Information was collected and added to the initial investigation in the same area. 

This case is active and has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division (CID) for further investigation.
