On August 26, 2022, while on routine patrol in the Steeplegate neighborhood in Trinity, a Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Miles Winston Frank. During the stop, the deputy discovered Frank had an outstanding Randolph County warrant and was also wanted out of the State of South Carolina. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in his possession. Frank was arrested and transported to the magistrate’s office where the magistrate found probable cause to charge Frank with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked. He was also served the outstanding warrant out of Randolph County for misdemeanor unauthorized use of motor vehicle and charged as a fugitive from justice from the State of South Carolina. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond and a first appearance was set for August 29, 2022, in Randolph County District Court. He was then transported to the Randolph County Detention Center for processing.
