On August 29, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after receiving information that its occupants were involved in a larceny from the store. During the investigation, stolen property was located in the vehicle as well as, heroin and drug paraphernalia. The heroin and paraphernalia belonged to a passenger in the vehicle, Leslie Ann Moore and she was placed under arrest.
Moore was charged with felony possession of heroin, misdemeanor aid and abet larceny, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $10,000 secured bond for her charges.
The other occupant in the vehicle was charged with misdemeanor larceny.
A first appearance was set for August 30, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
