On May 2, 2021, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Trinity Rd., Trinity, in reference to a trespassing call. Upon investigation, the subject, identified as Nicholas Alexander Willard, was no longer on the property but is known by the owner. Deputies located the vehicle that he had arrived in to the location. Communications advised that the vehicle had been reported stolen in Winston Salem. During the inventory of the vehicle, paperwork for Probation and Parole with Willard's name on it was located in the vehicle. A magistrate found probable cause and issued a warrant for arrest for a charge of Felony Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle.
On September 6, 2022, Willard was located by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant for arrest. He was also served an outstanding Order for Arrest out of Guilford (failure to appear on Driving While Impaired and DWLR Not Impaired) and Davidson (felony probation violation) Counties. He was issued a $12,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for September 7, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
