On January 5, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Delta Dr., Randleman, in reference to a 911 Wireless Hang-up. Upon arrival, the victim provided information about a vehicle that had been taken from the residence. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, warrants were sought for Justin O’Neal Craven (Alias-Jonathan Marcell Shamburger) for Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle & Felony Possession Stolen Motor Vehicle and the magistrate found probable cause.
On March 15, 2022, Craven (Alias-Jonathan Marcell Shamburger) was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team on Kenmore Drive in Asheboro. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the warrant and the magistrate issued a $3,000 secured bond with conditions of release to be Electronic House Arrest and must provide proof of identity. A first appearance was set for March 16, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
