On February 1, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team-Urban Unit was investigating the theft of a four wheeler. While in the Waddells Ferry Rd., Ext., area of Seagrove, they encountered a male subject riding a four wheeler matching the description of one reported stolen in Moore County. The male fled and deputies pursued the subject. A short time later, detectives located the abandoned four wheeler matching the identification of one stolen out of Moore County.
Following the investigation, it was determined that Tommy Colon Hussey was the driver of the four wheeler. Hussey was arrested on March 4, 2022, in a nonrelated incident and currently confined in the Randolph County Detention Center. On March 15, 2022, detectives went before the magistrate and swore out a criminal summons against Hussey for felony possession of stolen goods/property. Hussey was served with the criminal summons and is set to appear in Randolph County District Court on April 11, 2022, on this charge.
