During the booking process on October 2, 2022, Cranford was found to be in possession of additional methamphetamine and paraphernalia that she had hidden. On October 5, 2022, the magistrate found probable cause to issue additional charges of felony possession of controlled substance inside the jail facility, felony possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Cranford had bonded out before being served the new charges.
On October 31, 2022, Cranford was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was issued an additional $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for November 1, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.

On October 2, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Orchard Trail, Thomasville, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. While enroute, the deputy observed a vehicle matching the given description and conducted a traffic stop on Fuller Mill Rd. The driver was identified as Rebecca Anne Cranford, whose driver’s license is revoked. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine, paraphernalia and US currency were located. Cranford was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession with intent sell/manufacture/deliver methamphetamine, felony possession methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for October 3, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
