On October 11, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division concluded an investigation related to the distribution of narcotics in Randolph County. Detectives, along with the Criminal Interdiction Team, the Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team and the Asheboro Police Department, executed search warrants on residences located on Morgan Ave. in Asheboro, Union Grove Church Rd. in Seagrove and Plainfield Rd. in Sophia. During the course of the searches, Detectives located and seized a trafficking amount of Methamphetamine (173.6 grams), a trafficking amount of Cocaine (161.8 grams), Oxycodone, Marijuana, items of drug paraphernalia and US Currency. During the course of the investigation, 49.7 grams of heroin / fentanyl was also seized.
Alexander Dejura Lilly was placed under arrest and taken before the magistrate where probable cause was found for the charges of Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Trafficking in Cocaine, two counts Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana, and two counts Felony Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling/Place for Controlled Substance. He was given a $25,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for October 17, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
Dewarren Kinte Lilly was placed under arrest and taken before the magistrate where probable cause was found for the charges of Felony Trafficking in Cocaine, Felony Possession With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Cocaine and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was given a $25,000.00 Secured Bond with a court date scheduled for October 17, 2022 in Randolph County District Court.
