On October 27, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office Urban Interdiction Team and the Criminal Apprehension Team respond to Low Bridge Rd., Liberty, in an attempt to locate a wanted male subject, Joseph Barry Presnell, who was believed to be hiding inside of a camper at the rear of the property. Presnell had been actively fleeing from law enforcement and was evading arrest with the aid of multiple subjects. They were able to apprehend him without incident.
Presnell was wanted out of Randolph County on a Warrant for Arrest for Felony Possession Schedule II Controlled Substance, Felony Possession w/ Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession Drug Paraphernalia, Simple Possession Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Fail to Head Light & Siren, Driving While License Revoked, five Orders For Arrest – Driving While License Revoked, Felony Possession Methamphetamine, Felony Possession w/ Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Methamphetamine, & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Presnell was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and taken before the magistrate who issued a $41,000 secure bond and set the next court date for October 28, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
