On October 28, 2022, while the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling the area of Hopewell Friends Rd. in search of Thomas Zachary Hall, who had an outstanding warrant. They located a male subject in the front yard at the corner of Hopewell Friends Rd. and William Dr. When he saw the patrol car, he fled on foot to the backside of the residence. Deputies were able to identify the subject as Hall and pursued him, apprehending him on William Dr. He was placed under arrest for the multiple outstanding warrants. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charge of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor resisting public officer, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served his outstanding warrants. He received a $13,000 total secured bond and a court date was set for October 31, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
