On October 30, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Glenview Dr. at the request of Guil-Rand Fire Department in reference to a service call for flooding. Upon arrival, fire personnel advised that the resident had illegally by-passed the water main with a garden hose. The garden hose lead back to a camper that was on the property. Deputies went to the camper and spoke with a male, identified as Kyle Robert Johnson. Communications advised that Johnson had two active orders for arrest for Failure to Appear out of Randolph County. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charge of Felony Reconnect Utilities and was given a written promise on the above charge but received a total of $5,000 secured bond on the Failures to Appear and a court date was set for October 31, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
