On November 11, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Garren Town Rd., Asheboro, in reference to loitering. Upon arrival, deputies located two individuals in the rear parking lot of the business with their belongings scattered all over the immediate area surrounding their vehicle. Upon approach, they identified one subject as Banks Malcolm Luckado who initially gave them a false name. Deputies discovered Luckado was wanted out of Virginia with full extradition. Lukado was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony identity theft and misdemeanor resist/obstruct/delay. He was also served the felony fugitive warrant and gave. Luckado a $7,500 secured bond with a first appearance set for November 14, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
