On October 30, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Waynick Meadow Rd. in reference to a breaking and entering and a larceny. Upon arrival, the victim provided information regarding the items stolen from the property. Crime Scene Investigations responded to collect evidence in the incident. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, warrants were issued for Timothy Wayne Smith, Jr. and David Mingkhouan for two counts felony breaking and entering, two counts larceny after breaking and entering and two count of felony possession of stolen goods.
On November 29, 2022, the Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended both subjects and transported them to the Randolph County Detention Center where they were served their outstanding warrant and issued a $7,500 secured bond and a first appearance was set for November 30, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
