On December 9, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Edwards Farm Rd., Ramseur, in reference to serving Charles Christopher Cockman with civil paperwork. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. Mr. Cockman was not arrested at the time.
A warrant for arrest was issued on Mr. Cockman by the magistrate based on testimony by deputies.
On December 10, 2022, Cockman was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served the warrant for arrest for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $25,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for December 12, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
