On December 29, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate Michael Devon Shipwash for an outstanding order for arrest. Deputies observed Shipwash leaving an address on US Hwy 311 as a passenger in a vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Shipwash was arrested without and found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
The driver was identified as Ashley Loraine Losinger. During a subsequent search, Losinger was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia; she was also arrested.
Both subjects were transported to the Randolph County Detention Center and appeared before the magistrate. Shipwash was served his outstanding order for arrest for a misdemeanor probation violation and probable cause was found for the charge of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond and a first appearance was set for December 30, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
The magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia against Losinger. A first appearance was set for December 30, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
