On January 6, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Old Mendenhall Rd., Archdale. The driver was identified as Kristin Killian Lopez and the passenger, who originally gave a false name, was later identified as Lindsey Colen Stewart, had several outstanding probation violations.
During a subsequent search of the vehicle, methamphetamine, paraphernalia, and a Schedule II controlled substance was located. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center. The magistrate found probable cause for the charges of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misdemeanor Simple Possession Schedule II Controlled Substance against Killian-Lopez and she was issued a $15,000 secured bond and is set to appear in Randolph County District Court on January 9, 2023.
For Stewart, the magistrate found probable cause for the charges of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Simple Possession Schedule II Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor Fictitious Information to Officer. He was also served his outstanding processes. In total, Stewart received a $20,000 secured bond and is set to appear in Randolph County District Court on January 9, 2023.
