On March 28, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Edwards Farm Rd., Ramseur, in reference to a vehicle theft that had just occurred. While enroute, additional deputies and other agencies were made aware and began looking for the vehicle. A deputy located the vehicle traveling west and turning onto Presnell St. and then Henley Country Road where a traffic stop was conducted. The female driver was identified as Kristi Jo Hodge, who had six outstanding processes. Hodge was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and no operator’s license. She was also served the outstanding processes for failure to appear and felony probation violations. She received a total secure bond of $31,000 and a court date was set for March 28, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
