On March 28, 2022, at approximately 3:30 pm, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to W. Franklinville St. in reference to a trespassing. Upon arrival, deputies located Heather Danielle Watson trespassing on the property. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia were located. Watson was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was taken before the magistrate who found probable cause for the charges Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia. Watson was given a $1,000 secured (Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia) and a $1,000 unsecured bond (Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana, Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia) with a first appearance set for March 29, 2022.
At approximately 5:44 pm, deputies were requested to return to the address in reference to Alex Ryan Presnell, boyfriend of Watson, trespassing on the property. Presnell had been previously advised not to be on the property by the land owner. Presnell was placed under arrest for trespassing. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine was located. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was taken before the magistrate who found probable cause for the charges of Felony Possession of Methamphetamine and Misdemeanor Second Degree Trespassing. He was issued a $6,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for March 29, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
