On April 20, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office was assisting Randolph County Probation and Parole with a search of registered sex offender Dallas Eugene Walker at his registered address. During the search a firearm was located. Walker is a convicted felon. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of a firearm by felon and felony probation violation. He was issued a $2,500 secured bond. A first appearance was set for April 21, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
