On April 1, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers responded to the residence of Terrence Lee Blackwell on Brookwood Cir. in reference to an EHA Violation that occurred on March 29, 2022. Blackwell was wanted for Cyberstalking that was reported to and investigated by Asheboro Police Department. Blackwell was taken into custody for the Warrant and an Order for Arrest for the violation of EHA. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a $101,000 total secured bond and a first appearance is scheduled for April 4, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
Blackwell was placed on EHA on March 20, 2020, following drug related charges.
At approximately 8:10 pm, Blackwell began kicking the door to the initial holding area of the Randolph County Detention Center and subsequently assaulted a detention officer. The magistrate issued a Criminal Summons for Malicious Conduct by Prisoner and a court date was set for April 11, 2022.
