On May 15, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Electronic House Arrest (EHA) Officers were made aware that Sarah Morgan Booth had violated his conditions of EHA. Deputies responded to the Adult Day Reporting Center where they were advised that Booth had tested positive for illegal substances. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the felony electronic house arrest violation. The magistrate placed her back under her original bond of $25,000 secured plus continued EHA. A first appearance was scheduled for May 16, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
Booth was placed on EHA on February 3, 2022, for felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony sell/deliver cocaine, and felony maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. This is Booth's second EHA violation. She was violated on March 28, 2023, for failing a drug screen and was placed in the Randolph County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond with EHA upon release. Upon release, she was put back out on house arrest on April 19, 2023.
