The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division recently concluded an investigation related to the distribution of Fentanyl in Randolph County. On April 1, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was operated by Jarvis James Siler. A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and a trafficking amount of Fentanyl and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) was seized. Detectives with the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division then executed a search warrant at a business operated by Siler in Archdale. During the search, Detectives located and seized an additional trafficking amount of Fentanyl.
After a search of the business in Archdale was conducted, the High Point Police Department assisted in executing a search warrant at his residence in High Point. During the search of the residence, an additional trafficking amount of Fentanyl was located.
During the course of the investigation, a total of approximately 748.8 grams (1.7 LBS) of Fentanyl and 38.2 grams of MDMA was seized. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Division was assisted with the investigation by Winston Salem Police Department, Kernersville Police Department, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, High Point Police Department, Archdale Police Department and the DEA.
Jarvis James Siler was charged by Randolph County Sheriff’s Office with Felony Trafficking in Heroin (4 Counts) and Felony Trafficking in MDMA. He was transported to Randolph County Detention Center and given a $180,000.00 Secured Bond plus Electronic House Arrest, with a court date scheduled for April 4, 2022 in Randolph County District Court.
This investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected to be filed.
