On June 2, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division, along with the Seagrove Police Department and Moore County Sheriff’s Office, searched a residence located on Potters Way Rd. in Seagrove. During the search, Detectives located and seized Methamphetamine and a firearm. As a result of items found, a search warrant was executed on a vehicle located on the property. A trafficking amount of methamphetamine and US currency was seized.
Roger Lee Davis, Jr., was transported to Randolph County Detention Center where the Magistrate found probable cause for the charges of felony trafficking in methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture / sell / deliver methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession marijuana up to ½ oz., misdemeanor possession drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession marijuana paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting public officer. He was also served with a Failure to Appear for felony charges out of Randolph County and a Warrant For Arrest for misdemeanor charges out of Montgomery County. Davis was given a $71,000 secured bond with a court date scheduled for June 5, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
