On April 8, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the area of NC Hwy 64 W. and Shady Grove Church Road, Asheboro. While obtaining information from the driver, identified as Robin Crystal Fulford, paraphernalia was observed. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and marijuana were located. Fulford was arrested and transported to Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and fictitious registration plate. She was given a $2,000 secured bond and a first appearance is scheduled for April 11, 2022, in Randolph County District Court.
