On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported burglary that had already occurred on Millers Mill Road in Trinity. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the complainant and gathered information regarding the burglary.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division Detectives, charges were sought against Chasity Dawn Hutson Turner for felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after break / enter and felony possession of stolen goods/property and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On June 13, 2023, Turner was located in Davidson County, arrested and transported to the Davidson County Detention Center where she was served the outstanding warrant. The magistrate issued a $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for June 7, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
