On July 6, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on S. Main Street near Lakeside Drive in Archdale. The driver was identified as Dalton Ahmed Idodo, who had multiple outstanding orders for arrest from Harnett and Guilford Counties. During a search to arrest, methamphetamine was located on his person. During the vehicle search, paraphernalia was located. Idodo was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He was also served the outstanding orders and was issued a $50,000 total secured bond. A first appearance was set for July 10, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
