On March 23, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Ramseur Julian Rd., Ramseur, in reference to a vehicle theft. The victim reported arriving at the address to retrieve the vehicle but found it was missing, as well as an ATV. Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division Detectives, charges were sought against Jerry Daniel Rich, Jr. for felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods and the magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant.
On July 16, 2023, Rich was located, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served the outstanding warrant and issued a $5,000 unsecured bond and a court date was set for August 7, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
