On July 17, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted a traffic stop on US Hwy 220 Bus. S. in Asheboro. After further investigation, a search was conducted and Fentanyl and Methamphetamine were located. As a result, Issac John Needham was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, felony possession schedule II controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $10,000 secured bond with a first appearance set for July 19, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
