On September 2, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the area of Interstate Hwy 74 and Exit 86, Randleman. The driver was identified as Anna Danielle Crouse. During a subsequent search, illegal substances were located. Crouse was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of cocaine, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, reckless driving with wanton disregard, and fail to wear seat belt. The magistrate issued a $10,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for September 5, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
