On April 5, 2026, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Wicker Lovell Rd., Randleman, in reference to an assault. EMS responded to evaluate the victim and ultimately transported to an area hospital for treatment.
During the investigation, Brian Leslie Williams was identified as the assailant. He was located at his residence. Following the investigation, Williams was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony assault inflicting serious injury, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, and misdemeanor assault on a female. He was not issued a bond due to the charges being domestic in nature. A first appearance was scheduled for April 6, 2026, in Randolph County District Court.
