On February 28, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office had arrested Thomas Brandon Sims for active warrants out of Guilford County and orders for arrest out of Randolph and Davidson Counties. During the booking process, Detention Center staff located methamphetamine in his possession. Sims was taken before the magistrate, who found probable cause for the charges of felony possess methamphetamine and felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises. He was issued a $20,000 secured bond in this case and is set to appear in Randolph County District Court on March 1, 2023. Mr. Sims He was then served his outstanding processes before being placed into the custody of the Randolph County Detention Center.
